TAINTED

The New York critics regularly bemoan the sacrifice of art to mammon these days but living in Philadelphia, where the opposite is true, all I see is irony inherent in my own shitty situation. Here is a place that would rather have Andrew Wyeth and the Mural Arts Program represent us while all the contemporary art people look on and try to disassociate themselves. It seems that money can promote inspiration. So what if inspiration gets tainted where there is a lot of money. I could stand a little bit of tainting.
