NOUNING!

Took a poetry writing workshop at the Woodmere Museum. It was odd to be there to respond aesthetically to art rather than analytically. Noticed the similarity between the authority of voice in poems, fiction and non-fiction in contrast to the restrictions in artists intentions. It is read only after it hits the gallery and can be consumed in myriad ways often contrary to any meaning the artist had in mind. Learned something else: Nouning is common these days. So is verbing.
